About Me

I love to write and have a passion for the Great British countryside, and combining the two, enjoy writing about country life. My column in The EADT Suffolk magazine; ‘A Year In The Life Of A Farmer’s Wife’ is chatty and informal, but with a Dual Honours BSc in geography and biology I can turn my hand to report writing too.

My previous career in insurance saw me sitting on the Lloyd’s livestock wording committee. And whilst working as a livestock underwriter I also served as president of the Animal Transportation Association (2012-2014), giving me experience in heading up an international organisation, which amongst many other tasks involved co-ordinating an annual conference overseas. Closer to home I take care of the advertising for my local agricultural show, – The South Suffolk, and with a little help from the sunshine we have attracted record breaking crowds in recent years.

The amalgamation of all these experiences has led me down the PR and marketing route, naturally leaning towards agri-businesses. Channelling my competitive streak, I find it hugely satisfying to help a business achieve its full potential.
